Sales and order performance
Is the change concentrated in units, realized prices, order frequency or product mix? Review returns, refunds and cancellations before interpreting gross sales.
Analytics & advisory
Understand how online sales, product performance and inventory fit together. Elarva works with existing business exports to identify the decisions that deserve attention next.
Online stores generate order totals, product rankings and stock reports, but those views do not always explain which issue management should address. Revenue can rise while units weaken, a popular variant can disappear from the available range, or a promotional peak can leave too much inventory behind.
Elarva supports ecommerce retailers and product brands that need a structured interpretation of sales, orders, products, inventory and customer data. Work can begin with exports. No direct platform integration, continuous monitoring or software installation is implied by an engagement.
Is the change concentrated in units, realized prices, order frequency or product mix? Review returns, refunds and cancellations before interpreting gross sales.
Which products are gaining or losing unit sales? Check availability, launch timing and promotion history before treating a change as persistent demand.
Where does stock appear heavy relative to movement, and which selling items may need replenishment attention? Include incoming commitments where supplied.
Where customer identifiers and permissions allow, examine repeat purchasing, cohorts and basket patterns. Observed behavior does not reveal customer motivation on its own.
An order export often repeats order-level amounts across several line items. Summing those values without checking the data grain can overstate revenue. Split shipments, refunds recorded on a later date, bundles and renamed variants can also create inconsistent results.
Elarva reviews identifier stability, the unit of each row, duplicate records, date coverage and definitions of sales and returns. Channel, currency and business-date conventions are aligned where the supplied data support a combined analysis. A clean comparison may require separating unlike periods or documenting gaps rather than filling them with assumptions.
When customer data are relevant, provide only fields needed for the agreed question. Aggregated or pseudonymous identifiers may be sufficient; full personal profiles are not automatically needed.
Order and inventory exports can support product contribution, unit movement, stock exposure and purchasing priorities. Website conversion analysis additionally needs appropriate traffic and event data. Customer acquisition cost requires compatible marketing spend and acquisition definitions. Elarva does not infer those measures from order data alone.
Marketing attribution, causal promotion effects and lifetime-value forecasts require additional evidence and assumptions. These are not automatic outputs of a product and inventory audit. The scope review establishes which questions can be answered with the available history.
For Shopify-specific export questions, see Inventory Analytics for Shopify Brands. Elarva is an independent advisory practice; this does not imply Shopify endorsement or certification.
Outputs connect the analytical finding to its commercial implication, priority and recommended next action. A product review might identify availability checks before another order; an order review might highlight a definition issue that must be resolved before comparing channels. Recommendations state relevant limitations and decision conditions.
A focused question can start with Insight Review — $249. For deeper SKU and stock analysis, the Product & Inventory Decision Audit is $495. Ongoing Decision Support starts from $795/month, with scope and cadence confirmed for the engagement.
